Synopsis
Alex (Luka Schardan) asks his dad (Mark Schardan) to tuck him in and check under the bed. His father gets a shock.

My Thoughts
Tuck Me In is based on a 2 minute horror story by Juan J. Ruiz (aka justAnotherMuffledVO). The video is very simple but effective. There are no jump scares or anything like that. Tuck Me In is creepy and more of a psychological horror movie.

When I saw there were two boys, I wondered which one is the real Alex? Tuck Me In doesn't tell us. Maybe the boy under the bed is the real Alex who hid under there to get away from the entity laying in his bed. On the other hand, maybe the boy in the bed was telling the truth and he actually is the real Alex.

One thing that bugged me was that neither boy seemed really upset about seeing a fake version of himself. Wouldn't the real boy start freaking out when he saw someone who's identical to himself? Perhaps this implies the fake Alex has been there for a while. Was he trying to convince the real boy to do something? He could have convinced the boy not to freak out by saying he was the boy's long dead twin or an imaginary friend who just happened to look like him.

What would the fake Alex want? He could be an entity with doppelgänger abilities who's lonely and wants a family. He could also be some kind of parasitic entity who plans on taking the real Alex's place. If the fake Alex is in the bed, he might have told the dad to look under the bed in an attempt to get rid of the real Alex. If the real Alex is in the bed, he might have finally gotten the courage to tell the dad about the fake Alex.
