Camp Horror | Film Community | GoFundMe

About:
Camp Horror film production initiative based in Ontario, Canada. Their goals are to teach people how to make horror films. Camp Horror was created by Troy "Darc" Morrissey.

They're currently working on a film called Butcher Shop Girls. Local photographer JJ Somers will document what happens behind the scenes of the movie. They plan to use Waupoos Pub (Cressy Mustard Co) as one of their filming locations. Musicians will provide music for Butcher Shop Girls. Some of the musicians include Tony Forbes, Greenwood, and Bossfyte. Camp Horror has several make up artists, including Dead Kitty.

The teaser trailer makes Butcher Shop Girls look like a found footage film about a serial killer who keeps his female victims as prisoners until it's time to kill them. So, why is it named Butcher Shop Girls? If it's a found footage movie, perhaps it's similar to The Poughkeepsie Tapes, which features a serial killer documenting his crimes on VHS. Perhaps the serial killer from Butcher Shop Girls also documents his or her crimes. The film might be named Butcher Shop Girls because some of the serial killer's female victims escape and team up against him or her. Then, the victims use the serial killer's own equipment to document what they do to punish the person who hurt them.
