Synopsis
A woman (Lotta Losten) gets ready for bed. When she turns off the lights, she sees a shadowy figure standing in the hall. The shadowy figure can only be seen when the lights are off. The woman ducks under the covers. She hears creaky footsteps come into her bedroom. The lights flicker. She thinks it's over, so she pokes her head out. She sees something unexpected.
My Thoughts
I think the shadowy figure standing in the hall and the young woman with the wide mouth are the same entcouldIt sounded like the shadowy figure walked down the hall. Then, the bedroom door opened by itself. If they were the same entity, why could the woman only see the shadowy figure in the dark, but she could see the young woman with the wide mouth when the lights were turned on?
One theory I had was maybe the shadowy figure is a weaker version of the young woman with the wide mouth. If so, what made the shadowy figure strong enough to materialize as the young woman with the wide mouth? Perhaps the entity could use fear or other negative emotions to make itself stronger.
That theory could be too silly to be true. It's just as likely that the entity didn't need to become stronger. The entity might have changed its appearance just to scare the woman. She might have thought a shadowy figure wasn't powerful enough to hurt her. Then, when the entity that looked more physical showed up, it would have been even scarier.
