Harvest | Short Film | KickStarter

About:
Three friends named Rob, Max, and Tina are on a road trip to a rave. Along the way, the friends encounter sinister people in the woods.

According to the KickStarter page, Harvest will explore society's obsession with youth and the lengths people will go to keep it. The way this obsession changes people's behavior will also be a part of the film.

In the Harvest video above, we see an older man putting a mask on his face. There's also a woman whose eyes change from normal human eyes to being solid black.

The changing eyes remind me of the encounters with Black-Eyed Kids and Black-Eyed People I've read online. If you're interested in reading some of these encounters, the paranormal section of about.com has several stories submitted by the readers of that website.

People have also theorized the Black-Eyed People are vampires. Maybe that's how the people in the woods extend their lives. They somehow remove the youthfulness from young people and then consume it.

The video shows a man putting on a mask. Is he simply hiding his identity? Is he trying to scare Rob, Max, and Tina? It's possible the sinister people in the woods formed a cult centered on retaining their youth.

We don't know exactly how many people confront Rob, Max, and Tina. As far as we know, it could be just the two people we see in the trailer. How far are they willing to go to keep their youth, though? Are they willing to sacrifice young adults in order to keep it?
